About Us

Our Story

You could say that real estate is in the Visentin family genes. We knew the business long before actually becoming realtors ourselves. One of our fondest memories is watching our Dad, Nick, way back in 1978; we huddled around him in our basement as he worked on what would become the original brokerage logo for In Town Realty, which would eventually become Country Living Realty.

Back then, we were too young to realize how much blood, sweat and tears went into getting that real estate business off the ground, but our Dad had a way of inspiring and delighting us into going to the office with him on weekends. By 1982, all four Visentin kids knew how to answer the phones, book a showing and find paper-thin tear sheets for listing information. It was the 80’s, what can we say!
Our father loved to move with the real estate market, and we moved as it changed. It taught us a lot about the experience of relocating and the importance of immersing yourself in a new community. We have lived in Barrie, Rosemont, North York, Malton, Etobicoke, and The Beach, just to name a few. We made each neighbourhood our home and is the reason why this business is so personal to us.

Fast-forward to 1987. The real estate market was headed for a banner year in the GTA, the hair was teased, and George Michael’s ‘Faith’ was at the top of the billboard charts. All three Visentin Brothers, Ido, David and Paolo, decided that they too had to ‘have faith’ – we all became realtors in Toronto and the surrounding areas. Just one thing was missing – our little sister, Bonnie.

Just a few short years later, well, 24 years later, Bonnie followed in the family footsteps and all four Visentin siblings solidified their ranks as a team – specializing in country living real estate, including land, farms and cottage properties. Bonnie’s particular passion for the city has continued to grow in a complimentary fashion to the country living focus of her brothers, where she maintains a solid client base and a modest roster of city properties in the Toronto area.

Our story wouldn’t be complete without noting that our patriarch; our Dad is now enjoying his well-deserved retirement as we continue to grow the Visentin Family real estate legacy under the Real Estate Homeward umbrella. We are fortunate to serve our clients with our diverse interests and expertise in both city and country living.

David's Story

As an experienced agent in the Mulmur, Dufferin and Simcoe real estate market, David has worked closely with his brother Paolo to help families and investors find unique parcels of land, farms, cottages, and dream homes for over 50+ combined years.

You might be thinking, “He looks familiar” and that’s because outside of being a top producing agent for the Visentin Real Estate Team, David has also been a cheeky co-host of “Love It or List It” on HGTV and the W Network. Apart from some quick comebacks to his “love it” Interior Designer Co-host, Hillary, David guides homeowners on the show who are on the fence in finding comfort in the benefits of listing their current home and moving into one that meets their actual needs.

David likes to say he was born with a ‘SOLD’ sign in his hand. It’s actually almost true give or take a few years. David spent the weekends at the Visentin family farm/real estate office learning the business, alongside the rest of his siblings.

What sets David apart? It’s not just his TV charm. His industry experience, personality and straightforward approach have made him a local and international success.

Bonnie's Story

Bonnie values lasting relationships and it shows. She will always go above and beyond to make even the most daunting real estate experience as seamless (and fun!) as possible.

Bonnie and her brothers were born and raised in Toronto. She was destined to follow their Father into the family real estate business; where she focuses more on the city experience.

Once upon a time, Bonnie served as a Production Coordinator and Associate Producer on several lifestyle TV shows. This, paired with her education and dedicated industry experience have proven Bonnie to be a highly competitive and successful real estate agent and advocate for her clients.

Always committed to further education that benefits her clients’ experience, Bonnie is an accredited Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE) and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Having moved around throughout her early years and learning how to acclimate into new communities, Bonnie is committed to serving and is an active volunteer at her Daughter’s school and at a local music school as a steadfast fundraiser.

Balance is the key to life and when Bonnie isn’t closing on real estate deals, she’s enjoying life as a long-time resident of the Toronto Upper Beaches with her partner and daughter (and their puppy!). You can find her unwinding at her weekly swim or strength training – good for the body and for the mentality needed to tackle any challenge that the GTA real estate market has to throw at her!

Communication

From start to finish, we will be there to ensure that your purchase or sale goes smoothly and exceeds your expectations. Communication goes far beyond just speaking and listening. You are as unique as your property and deserve to be treated as such, every step of the way.

Knowledge

They say knowledge is power, and we could not agree more! We use our knowledge of the industry and the trends of each specific market to get you the best deal possible, whether you’re buying or selling.

Visentin's Core Values

Nothing matters more than our client’s experience. We know, many other Realtors would tell you that it’s getting the best deal. That’s important too. But with our uniquely personalized client experience process, we feel confident that with the right client approach, the right deal will follow. It’s all down to the details, and, the communication. Buying or selling a home is an emotional experience, and we pride ourselves on creating relationships where our clients feel comfortable speaking open and honestly. That’s how good deals are made.
